How we work in Louisiana

Local haulers do the work; we hold the contract, own the problems, and send one bill. One agreement can hold roll-off dumpsters, portable toilets, and restroom trailers for every Louisiana site. If you’re weighing us against a single hauler, here’s how a broker, a hauler, and our provider network differ.

Figures are counts of completed deliveries, providers, and accounts in this window from our records, as of October 2026. Roll-off deliveries are containers delivered. Portable toilet deliveries are units placed, not orders. A company that completed both services is counted in both service rows, so those rows are not a split of the provider total. The counts are not a promise that every address is covered. Front-load service, compactors, and balers are not in these counts.

State rules

Louisiana rules a buyer should know

What follows is a buyer’s summary of the Louisiana rules that change the buy. It is not legal advice, so check the current text and the site’s local ordinance before you rely on it.

Where construction debris can go

Louisiana’s solid waste rules at LAC 33:VII.115 define construction/demolition debris as nonhazardous waste, generally not water-soluble, produced in the construction, remodeling, repair, renovation, or demolition of structures, including buildings of all types. Regulated asbestos-containing material, white goods, creosote-treated lumber, and items that aren’t an integral part of the structure are not C&D debris. A Type III facility, such as a construction/demolition-debris or woodwaste landfill, separation facility, or composting facility, is the kind that takes it. Confirm acceptance with the facility before the haul.

Who may haul portable toilet waste

LDEQ’s sewage sludge and biosolids page says a Sewage Sludge Hauler Registration is required for whoever runs sewage sludge transport, and transport includes pick-up, hauling, and disposal of portable toilet waste and domestic septage. Separately, the state health rules at LAC 51:XIII.901 say no one may haul the contents of septic tanks, cesspools, vaults, or similar facilities without a license from the state health officer, valid throughout the state and expiring June 30. Crew counts are on the OSHA portable toilet requirements guide.

A container on a public street

New Orleans’ dumpster and storage container permit page says a permit is required to place a dumpster or storage container in public view in front of your property. The city’s standards for construction dumpsters say the permit is needed before delivery for placement in the right-of-way (street, sidewalk, or alley), that no additional permit is needed on private property, and that a dumpster in the right-of-way must show the owner’s name, address, and phone number in letters at least 2 inches high, with two Type 2 safety markers at each end. Other Louisiana cities set their own rules.
