Dumpster rental and portable toilets in Dallas–Fort Worth

Local haulers do the work; we hold the contract, own the problems, and send one bill. Dallas and Fort Worth publish different street rules, so the city on the address changes the permit.

The Dallas–Fort Worth account

One agreement can carry roll-offs, portable toilets, and restroom trailers. We coordinate providers that have completed jobs in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and we stay on the account. How a hauler, a broker, and a managed network differ walks through the roles. Statewide landfill classes and the chemical-toilet transporter registration are on the Texas page. This page is the two cities and the Census metro around them. A state highway right-of-way is still its own permit, as that Texas page describes.

Figures are counts of completed deliveries, providers, and accounts in this window from our records, as of October 2026. Roll-off deliveries are containers delivered. Portable toilet deliveries are units placed, not orders. A company that completed both services is counted in both service rows, so those rows are not a split of the provider total. The counts are not a promise that every address is covered. Front-load service, compactors, and balers are not in these counts. The sanitation figure adds portable toilets and hand-wash units placed. Where a restroom-trailer count is shown, it is units placed.

Two cities, two street rules

City of Dallas and City of Fort Worth pages read October 26, 2026 are the basis for this section. Verify the section with the city that owns the curb. Arlington is the third city in the Census title. The ordinances summarized here are Dallas and Fort Worth.

Dallas

Dallas City Code section 18-6 is downtown collection. No solid waste or containers go on streets, sidewalks, alleys, or easements before 6:00 p.m., and they must be back inside by 10:00 p.m. If space exists between a structure and the alley, easement, or street, containers may sit at the boundary so people and vehicles can pass, with the sanitation director's approval. Section 18-6 sets that downtown collection window.

Fort Worth

Fort Worth's street permit covers temporary street use. Its traffic control guidelines require a plan with every submittal, including work that leaves the travel lane open, and pedestrian control when a sidewalk or crosswalk is affected. The guidelines include dumpster layouts for a parking lane and a travel lane. A Fort Worth street placement uses that permit. Downtown Dallas collection uses the 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. window in section 18-6.

Portable toilets

The Dallas section 18-6 page and the Fort Worth street-permit page address containers and temporary street use. Construction crew counts stay on the OSHA portable toilet requirements guide.

Landfills and transfer stations

Dallas Sanitation operates McCommas Bluff Landfill at 5100 Youngblood Road, open to commercial and residential customers, Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The transfer-station page lists Bachman at 9500 Harry Hines Boulevard for residents and small commercial customers, Fair Oaks at 7677 Fair Oaks Avenue for residents only, and Westmoreland at 4610 S. Westmoreland Road for residents only. That page posted closures for Westmoreland, October 14 through November 8, 2026, and Fair Oaks, October 28 through November 15, 2026.

Fort Worth Environmental Services says contractors may take construction debris to the Southeast Landfill at 6288 Salt Road. Its mulching and compost list names the Fort Worth C&D Landfill at 4144 Dick Price Road. Match the facility to the city on the address: Dallas Sanitation names McCommas Bluff, and Fort Worth names the Southeast Landfill for contractor construction debris.

Planning across the city line

The practical split is the city line. Downtown Dallas collection containers follow the 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. window in section 18-6. A Fort Worth street placement follows the street permit and the dumpster typical in the traffic control guidelines. Arlington publishes a third set of street rules. Tell us which city the address is in when you send the site list.
