We don't publish trailer prices, because the local provider sets them and they swing by market. What we can show is what a quote is built from, using the 656 restroom trailers our provider network delivered from October 26, 2024 through October 26, 2026.1
The quote, line by line
The trailer itself is one line. The rest depends on how long it stays, how often someone visits, and what the spot has for water and power.
| Quote line | What moves it | What to tell us |
|---|---|---|
| Stall layout | More stalls means a longer trailer, bigger tanks and more water and power. | Peak headcount and whether you need an ADA stall. |
| Days included | The rental is quoted as a block of days. Staying past it adds days. | Delivery and pickup dates, and whether they could slip. |
| Service visits | Each pump-out, freshwater fill and restock is a trip. | Daily use and how many days the trailer stays. |
| Water and power | A hose bib and an outlet in reach cost less than tanks and a generator. | Distance to the nearest spigot and outlet, and the outlet type. |
| Delivery and pickup | Distance from the provider's yard, and how hard the spot is to reach. | The address, the drop spot, and anything tight like gates or slopes. |
| Extra charges | Anything outside the rental, delivery and service lines. | Ask what's included before you sign. |
How long they actually stay
Of the 547 trailers with a recorded pickup date, 51% stayed three days or less. The median stay was 3 days.1
| Time on site | Trailers | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 3 days | 277 | |
| 4 to 7 days | 136 | |
| 8 to 30 days | 77 | |
| 31 to 90 days | 28 | |
| Over 90 days | 29 |
| Days included | Trailers | Share |
|---|---|---|

| 3 days | 57 |
What the two tables mean for you. A weekend event fits inside a 4 day block. A remodel or a long outage usually doesn't, so it's quoted on 28 day cycles, and 166 of the trailers were set up as long-term rentals from the start. Pick the block that covers your real dates, and ask what an added day costs in case the pickup slips.
Service visits
65% of trailers ran their whole rental on one set of tanks. Once a rental runs past a few days of steady use, visits become a line on the quote and add up over a month.
Trailers delivered October 26, 2024 through October 26, 2026, by the service schedule on the order. 19 trailers had other schedules.
A trailer that sees steady crowds fills its waste tank sooner than one used by a small crew. Tell us the headcount and hours so the schedule matches the use, not the calendar.
With a garden hose feeding fresh water, a visit is mostly a pump-out. With tanks only, the provider refills fresh water as well.
Among trailers that had service at all, weekly was the most common by a wide margin. Daily and three times a week went to the heaviest use.
Stall layout
293 of the 656 trailers were two-stall units and 192 were four-stall. Bigger layouts went out in smaller numbers, and 14 were three-stall trailers with an ADA stall.
Moving up a size changes more than the rental. A larger trailer needs a longer, level spot, a heavier tow and more water and power. Sizing by headcount is on the restroom trailer requirements page.
Extra charges
135 of the 656 trailers, 21%, had a charge outside rental, delivery and service. Getting them named up front is the easiest way to keep the final bill matching the quote.1
A quote should state
And what each added day costs.
What a visit covers and what an extra visit costs.
Whether a generator or tank fill is on the quote or on you.
Together or separately, and the time windows for each.
Worth asking about
Send the address, dates, headcount and what the spot has for water and power. We'll come back with a quote that names every line.
Questions
It depends on the stall layout, how many days you need, service visits, water and power, and delivery distance. The local provider sets the price, so we quote it for your address and dates.
Prices are set by the local provider and change by market and season. A number on a page would be wrong for most people reading it.
Not long. The median stay across our provider network was 3 days, and 51% of trailers were picked up within three days.
Short rentals usually don't need any. 65% of trailers had no scheduled service. Longer rentals are quoted with a schedule, most often weekly.
About one quote in five had a charge outside rental, delivery and service. Ask about supplies, after-hours delivery, end-of-rental cleaning, damage and generator fuel before you sign.
Usually not. Without hookups the quote may add a generator and tank fills, so a spigot and outlet near the drop spot tend to help.
