A wedding, a race, a festival or a company picnic all need restrooms, and the first complaints are always about the line. We source portable restrooms, accessible units, hand wash stations and restroom trailers for events from local providers, schedule delivery and service around your hours and keep it on one agreement.

Planning numbers
Event requirements vary by city and by event type, and many cities do not publish a single number. The City of Santa Barbara, California publishes a quick guide for park events as one public example.1
| Topic | What the guide says |
|---|---|
| Portable toilets | One for every 250 to 300 expected attendees |
| Accessible units | At least 10 percent of the toilets must be accessible |
| Permanent park restrooms | Not counted toward the portable toilets needed |
| Vendor contract | Required one week before the event |
This is one city's guide for park events, not a national rule. Your venue and permit may require more, and long events, alcohol and food service all push the count up. Our event restroom planning guide goes through the factors. Venues and campuses that host events often are covered on hotels and hospitality and schools and universities.
Tell us the date, the venue and the expected crowd. We recommend a count and source the units.
Beyond the toilets
Restrooms are the headline. A few other items make them work.
| Need | What we source | Related |
|---|---|---|
| Accessible access | At least the share your venue requires, on firm level ground | ADA portable toilet guide |
| Hand washing | Hand wash stations at restrooms and food areas | Hand wash station rental |
| Larger or premium events | Restroom trailers with sinks and flushing | Restroom trailer rental |
| Power and lights | Generators and lights for evening events | Temporary power and light towers |
Timing
The units are the easy part. The schedule is where events go right or wrong.
Popular weekends fill up and permits take time.
Easy to find, lit at night, and with a clear path for service trucks.
Long events need service visits so units stay usable. Tell us the hours.
Confirm when units are removed so venues are left clean.
